1987 life drawing and inspiration from the aftermath of the London hurricane.
The Noise And Power in weather in the night.
Followed next morning by devastation.
Trees down or maimed taking walls and railings with them as they fell.
For months after the holes and gaps in the London streets were signs and reminders of how lucky we all were that the Winds came in the night not at Rush Hour.
It was a little like the trees and walls, railings and fences had sacrificed themselves for the city to continue.
Of course the breached boundaries had to be repaired, it would never do to leave them as reminders of chaos.
